The Waikerie Community Senior Citizens' Home Inc. operates a retirement village 'Warrawee Lodge (Waikerie)', which has 70 independent living units within the village with either one or two bedrooms. The entry fees are structured so that it is therefore possible to provide a unit to meet an individual's needs. Please contact the office within the village any morning, when the Manager would be happy to discuss your requirements, or telephone for an appointment (+61 8 85413655 for overseas enquiries, 08 85413655 for enquiries within Australia). A maintenance fee is payable to cover maintenance of the units, grounds and facilities, insurance, Council and water rates, administration etc. The village is situated in a fairly central position, being close to the Bowling Club and the Senior Citizens' Clubrooms. The community bus and courtesy car call regularly should transport be required to the town centre, and a bus travels from the village to Berri every Friday.
